B. Mercy

B. Mercy: Though all Christians are to show mercy (Heb. 13:3, Matthew 25:35-40, Luke 10: 29-37), this gift is the extra ability or anointing from the Spirit to feel genuine empathy and compassion for individuals who suffer distressing physical, mental or emotional problems, and to translate that compassion into care which reflects Christ’s love and which soothes the suffering.
